Our Mission
Bringing Nagoya’s tech community together.
Nagoya.Tech is an international meetup group for people who live, work, and build things in and around Nagoya.
We usually meet once a month (typically the last Friday), except on holidays.
Our community is open to everyone — students, professionals, founders, hobbyists, and lifelong learners.
There’s no membership fee, and most events are free.
Whether you’re new to Nagoya or have been here for years, you’re welcome here.

名古屋のテックコミュニティをつなぐこと。
Nagoya.Tech は、名古屋およびその周辺地域にお住まいの方々を中心に、
テクノロジーを通じた交流の場を提供する国際的なミートアップグループです。
通常、月に1回（原則として月末の金曜日） 開催しておりますが、祝日などにより変更となる場合がございます。
学生の方から社会人、起業家、エンジニア、テクノロジーにご興味のあるすべての皆さまにご参加いただけます。
会費は不要で、多くのイベントは無料で開催しております。
初めて名古屋に来られた方も、長くお住まいの方も、どうぞお気軽にご参加ください。

Our goal is simple: to make life in Nagoya better by helping tech people connect. At our meetups, we:
welcome new members
share what we’re working on
exchange ideas and advice
learn who’s hiring and which local companies are doing great things
and sometimes host guest speakers or open discussions on the latest tech topics
Some events are relaxed open-mic style, others are workshops or classroom-style sessions — but the atmosphere is always friendly, supportive, and fun.
We’re here to learn together, grow together, and build community.

Tech Around Nagoya
Nagoya and the wider Aichi region are quietly becoming one of Japan’s most interesting emerging tech hubs.
The Aichi Prefectural Government has made major investments to attract startups and global talent, including standout facilities like Innovator’s Garage in Sakae and the impressive STATION Ai incubator in Tsuruma Park. These semi-public innovation spaces support member companies while regularly hosting events that are open to the public — making them excellent resources for anyone interested in the local startup scene.
名古屋周辺のテック動向
名古屋および愛知県は、現在、日本の中でも特に注目すべき新しいテックハブとして着実に成長しています。
愛知県はスタートアップやグローバル人材の誘致に積極的に取り組んでおり、栄にある Innovator’s Garage や、鶴舞公園に新設された STATION Ai など、象徴的なイノベーション拠点が誕生しています。
これらの施設は会員企業を支援する半公共的な施設でありながら、一般参加可能なイベントも数多く開催されており、地域のスタートアップ動向に関心のある方にとって非常に貴重な情報源となっています。
At the national level, the Japanese government has also begun piloting “digital nomad” visas, signaling a broader effort to welcome international tech professionals and entrepreneurs. Together, these initiatives reflect a growing openness to global collaboration, strongly influenced by international startup culture — something you can even see in the naming and branding of these programs.
また、日本政府も国際的なテック人材や起業家の誘致を目的として、「デジタルノマドビザ」制度の試験導入を進めており、日本全体としてもグローバル連携への姿勢が一層強まっています。
こうした取り組みは、名称やブランディングからも見て取れるように、国際的なスタートアップ文化の影響を色濃く受けたものとなっています。
One of the highlights of our 2024 was seeing this momentum firsthand at STATION Ai’s grand opening, where startups, universities, financial institutions, and partners from around the world came together to celebrate the future of innovation in Nagoya.
私たちにとって 2024 年の大きなハイライトの一つは、STATION Ai のグランドオープンイベントにおいて、世界各国のスタートアップ、大学、金融機関、パートナー企業が一堂に会し、名古屋のイノベーションの未来を共に祝った光景を目の当たりにできたことでした。
Our Role
Living and working in Japan can be incredibly rewarding — but it can also be challenging, especially when it comes to finding professional opportunities and community in a second language.
That’s where Nagoya.Tech comes in.
Our primary focus is connecting international residents of Central Japan with opportunities, education, and each other through relaxed, welcoming events. We’re already seeing the impact this creates as people build friendships, find collaborators, and grow their careers together.
Our secondary focus is education. In addition to technology topics, we host workshops and discussions that help people better understand Japanese work culture, communication styles, and day-to-day life.
Most of our events are held in English, with Japanese used as a secondary language, creating a comfortable space for both international and local participants. While official institutions continue developing the region’s tech ecosystem, Nagoya.Tech operates as an independent, community-driven hub for international connection.

日本で生活し、働くことは多くの魅力と可能性に満ちていますが、同時に、第二言語でのキャリア形成やコミュニティづくりには困難を感じる場面も少なくありません。
Nagoya.Tech は、まさにそのような課題を少しでも解消するために活動しています。
私たちの最も重要な使命は、中部日本に暮らす国際的な人材同士、そして地域社会とをつなぎ、
機会・学び・人との出会いを、誰もが安心して参加できるカジュアルなイベントを通じて提供することです。
実際に、こうした取り組みを通じて、参加者同士が友情を築き、協力関係を生み、キャリアを発展させていく姿が生まれています。
また、教育も私たちの重要な柱の一つです。
技術分野に関する内容だけでなく、日本の職場文化、コミュニケーションの在り方、日常生活に関する理解を深めるためのワークショップやディスカッションも開催しています。
イベントは主に 英語 で進行し、必要に応じて 日本語 も使用することで、国際的な参加者と地域の皆さまの双方が安心して交流できる環境づくりを心がけています。
地域のテックエコシステムが公的機関によって発展していく一方で、Nagoya.Tech は、国際的なつながりを育む独立したコミュニティとして、主体的に活動を続けています。

Our Commitment
Our role is to help bridge communication between Nagoya’s local ecosystem and the global community. As our visibility and activity continue to grow, new opportunities naturally emerge for our members. We’re here to make it clear: this international tech community exists, and we are eager to contribute.
We work continuously to improve the quality of life for people in tech by building meaningful connections and strengthening the local ecosystem. From the very beginning, we’ve been fortunate to attract an incredible group of individuals — and this is only the beginning. We are committed to making a lasting, positive impact.
