Once again, we are bringing Nagoya’s international tech community together. This time we have a new venue – Second Home in Sakae, just a few blocks from our previous meetup.

Come meet your local tech enthusiasts and make new friends, and join in for the (optional) Open Mic. You can introduce yourself briefly and show us what you’re working on, or if you’re looking for work, now’s a great time to let everyone know what you can do! See attached info for more details about Open Mic. Or just come for fun and make new friends!

What Payment methods do you accept?

This event is cash only. Please pay at the venue when you arrive.

How much is the entry fee, and what does it include?

There are 3 options for the entry fee: 1) 1000 JPY. Includes one drink. 2) 2000 JPY. Includes standard nomihodai (all-you-can-drink) 3) 3000 JPY. Includes premium nomihodai (all-you-can-drink)

What is the difference between the standard and premium nomihodai?

While the standard option includes most drinks on the menu, the premium option also includes more international beers such as Corona, Dinga, and Peroni.

Will there be food available at the event?

Free snacks will be available while supplies last.

Do I have to participate in the Open Mic time?

Open Mic is 100% optional. You do not have to participate. You can also decide if you want to participate or not while watching, as there is a sign-up list that runs until the end of the night.

What can I say during the Open Mic time?

You can simply introduce yourself, share a story about a project you are working on, let me know you are looking for work or hiring others, anything you want. But please try to keep your presentation as short as possible. While most people just talk for around 2 minutes, please make your presentation at most 5 minutes long. If you want to share more information than open mic allows, you are welcome to invite people to talk to you after the open mic.
